How did you hear about Bootham and what made you choose Bootham?
My Cousin studied at Bootham School for one term 2 years ago, so when she told me about it... I really wanted to come to.

Have you made new friends here at Bootham?
So at first I was really nervous because I didn’t know anyone but it was really easy to make friends because everyone was so nice and welcoming. It was really easy to make friends.

What does a typical day look like as a boarding student at Bootham?
The day is really structured with breakfast, getting ready, going to school, dinner and then prep time. I particularly like that you have friends around all day long so there is always someone to talk to.

What do you do on a week-end as a boarding student?
At the week-end we always have different activities. For example, laser tag, escape rooms, cooking etc.

What has been your favourite aspect of Bootham?
I like that there is a variety of subject choices, I get to try out new subjects. For example, I am currently studying drama and it has become my favourite subjects.
